We started with a straight historical solider look…
…but ended up with a playful a mix of old and new:
Ruben Fleischer, who broke out with the camp horror classic ‘Zombieland‘ and has gone on to direct the features ‘30 Minutes or Less‘ and ‘Gangster Squad,’ as well as spearheading NBC’s comedy ‘Superstore,’ directed the spot that centered on bringing Emanuel Leutze’s 1851 iconic painting Washington Crossing The Delaware to life…
…using practical effects in a water tank on a sound stage:
